Eddie Mugavero: music

EVERYWHERE I GO, YOU'RE GONE

(Written by Eddie Mugavero, David Spear, & Bob Dellaposta-Recorded by David Spear)
When David looked through my old material for songs, he found this one. It was written as a country ballad. He loved the chorus but not the verses. So dutifully, I rewrote it, making the chorus the verses, and wrote a different bridge, turning it into an AABA structure. I must admit, the song is better now and had a blast producing it as "Beatle-ly" as I could.
EVERYWHERE I GO YOU’RE GONE

EVERYWHERE I GO YOU’RE GONE
WITHOUT YOU I DON’T KNOW HOW I’LL GO ON
YOU’LL NEVER DISAPPEAR ALTHOUGH YOU BEEN AWAY SO LONG…

EVERY DREAM I DREAM YOU’RE THERE
EACH NIGHT BEFORE I SLEEP I SAY A PRAYER
THAT YOU’LL COME BACK TO ME OR I DON’T WANT TO SEE THE DAWN

AND EVERYWHERE I GO
YOU’RE GONE
MORNING NOON AND NIGHT LOOKING LEFT AND RIGHT
YOU’RE GONE
IN AND OUT OF TOWN ANY ROAD I’M DOWN
YOU’RE GONE
THIS WORLD AIN’T BIG ENOUGH
CAUSE GIRL I’M STILL IN LOVE

EVERYTHING I SEE IS THROUGH TEARS
I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE THAT YOU’RE NOT HERE
THOUGH I STILL SEE YOUR SMILE IN EVERY STAR I WISH UPON
EVERYWHERE I GO YOU’RE GONE
EVERYWHERE I GO YOU’RE GONE
EVERYWHERE I GO YOU’RE GONE
