Another one from the "Hubcap" demo session. This was a crowd favorite also, and another title suggested by David. He loved challenging me to write a song around any word he could think of. I used to ask him, what do you want this song to be about? He'd say,"I have no idea." I loved rising to that challenge, coming up with a concept, melody and lyric.
This was a performance piece. We had an easel, and pre-drawn sketches that David would point to as he sang. It was hilarious, watching him flip the pages to be in-synch with the lyric. I love Jennie's drumming on this recording. She made this cut happen! Jennie's giggle and David's comment at the end ("Ridiculous") was us in a nutshell..we had no idea what we were creating, but sure had fun doing it. Dedicated to our friend Holly B.
